Abstract acceptance

Authors will be informed of their acceptance and method of presentation by 1 November 2022. The programme committee will try to accommodate your preferred method of presentation; however, as each format will form an integral part of the conference, the organising committee reserves the right to assign papers to either oral or poster presentation as necessary.

Oral presentations

Oral presentations will be limited to 12 minutes, plus 3 minutes per presentation for questions/discussion. We strongly encourage presenters to use electronic methods of presentation such as PowerPoint or Adobe Acrobat.

Poster presentations

There will be dedicated poster session(s) during the symposium. Each poster presenter will be asked to very briefly summarise their poster, if necessary supported by a maximum of 2 slides maximum.

Guidelines for contributors

  • All speakers are to provide a recording of their presentation in MP4 format
  • Presentations must be made with the presenter on video alongside the presentation
  • Presenters must use their own voice when recording the presentations. Electronic voices will not be accepted.
  • Presenters are asked to record with a lighting source in front of the camera to avoid dark displays on screen.

Acta volume is the proceedings of this conference, therefore acceptance is dependant on papers being presented by paying ISHS members.
